Our story

Reusable by design

Most kitchen waste is the bag you use once and throw away. Stow & Fold bags are made from food-grade silicone — soft, strong and airtight — so one bag does the work of a box of single-use ones. Seal leftovers, freeze a portion, drop the bag into a warm-water bath to cook, then wash it out and use it again. Because they fold flat and stand on their own, they tuck into a drawer or a fridge door and last for years.

How it's made

Each bag is moulded in one piece from food-grade liquid silicone — no seams to leak, no lining to peel. It is set in a heated mould, then inspected by hand and tested for a clean airtight seal before it leaves. The material resists stains and odours and is built to be washed again and again.

How to use it

Fill the bag, press the two sides of the seal together to close it, and squeeze the air out through the top as you finish sealing for a vacuum-style hold. Freeze, refrigerate or cook at a low temperature in a water bath. Wash by hand or in the dishwasher between uses.

Good to know

Do they leak?

The bags are moulded in one piece with no seams and a tested airtight seal, so liquids stay in. Press the two sides of the seal together firmly and squeeze the air out as you close it.

Is silicone safe and food-grade?

Yes. The bags are made from food-grade silicone, free of the common concerns with some plastics, and are tested for safe use with food at the temperatures they are rated for.

Are they a replacement for single-use plastic?

Yes — each bag replaces the single-use plastic bags you would otherwise use for lunch, leftovers, freezing and cooking. They fold flat, stand on their own and are designed to last for years.

How do I clean them?

Wash by hand with warm, soapy water or put them in the dishwasher. They resist stains and odours, but for strong smells like garlic or onion, a rinse with a little baking soda and warm water helps.

Can they really go in the freezer?

Yes. The food-grade silicone stays flexible at freezer temperatures, and the airtight seal protects contents from frost and odours. Fill them leaving a little room for food to expand as it freezes.

Are they safe to cook in?

Yes. They are made from food-grade silicone and withstand a warm-water bath for gentle cooking, like sous-vide. They are not for direct oven, grill or microwave heating — check the temperature limits printed on the bag.
